When reading in the thread about the missing girls from Australia, I noticed that a family member had picked up on your discussions. I don't think it's a good thing for family members to read here, as some things should be filtered for them. However, if a family member were really willing and had a desire to know all, they could simply join. I saw nothing to keep people from joining here. Just my humble opinion! Or, perhaps certain threads can be made public, and others for members only, not sure if that is an option. By the way, awesome place with awesome people!! thanks for the venue and the hard work you put into it. It shows!
I don't think just anyone should be able to view forums. Due to the fact that they may misinterpret what one of us may be trying to get at. Or they could flat out just not like what we have to say or what we see.
Perhaps a design with a "public front door" with a simple list of cases might help point LE and others toward the Forum. Mary's point is well taken - this listing of cases might address that concern.

I feel it helped me because I was not a member but it was helpful for me to read and made it more comfotable for me to know that someone out there cared.
