Jared Hanna - Missing - 7/2/2011 - Clinton County, Illinois

JERSEYVILLE • Law enforcement authorities and relatives are looking for clues to the whereabouts of a 28-year-old Jerseyville man missing since Saturday night.
Jared Hanna was seen at two Alton bars Saturday night and next seen around midnight walking along Jolliff Bridge Road in Clinton County, about three miles north of Centralia and about 60 miles east of Alton.
"It's like he just disappeared," his mother, Pat New, said Thursday.
Hanna was about a half-mile from his mother's 1990 white GMC Sierra pickup, later found pulled off the road, out of gas and locked. New said she talked with people who live nearby and saw her son around midnight, alone, walking from the direction of Centralia and toward the pickup.
New said the truck was pulled off the road so it wasn't easily seen from the road until someone was close to it.
New said she did not believe her son had any health problems or that he would intentionally drop out of sight without telling anyone. She said he is the father of two daughters, 3 and 6 years old, and has full custody of them. She said his sister, Heather Hanna, cared for them when he was away at work.
Hanna is employed by Oros & Busch Application Technologies in Weldon Spring. His mother said he had worked on a job for the company in the Centralia area last year.
Hanna's relatives have searched the area where the truck was found, talked with area residents and posted fliers. They have also created a Facebook community called "Help Find Jared Hanna."
Jersey County Sheriff Mark Kallal said Thursday that his department was starting a missing-person investigation but had no information yet to suggest what might have happened. To contact the sheriff's department, call 618-498-6881.

I have him pretty close to where your red circle is at the edge of the circle that is near the land marks across the hwy from the wooded area. Here is my writing

Markings on the road shows his whereabouts to the right about 500 yards east of the hwy.Lost his way when he got out of the car and was headed south. He backtracked about 20 feet and could not find his way.

As far as I know Jared is still missing. Tarot might be able to shed a little light on the situation but it is not 100 per cent accurate and I cannot guarantee that all details will be. Tarot generally works with elements past present and future and may repeat information already known - however it can often highlight other matters. Well as you can see a nice picture of Jared above, smiley and coming across as a really nice jolly personality. I often feel very sad when people go missing when I see them so animated in their photograph. However, taking a first card for Jared and asking what might have been happening around the time he went missing I receive this card.

A really difficult card here as it might not be a good start. Here is the four of swords and judging by the reversed swords before we get here its tricky. The four of swords can be a situation where somebody is 'with held' this can be against their will literally or it could be a thought that runs through a persons mind, being held up.

The three tells us that Jared is 'mislaid for a time' that does,nt seem to imply he was going to disappear voluntarily. There are some indications of an altercation with somebody or possibly a quarrel or stand off and that might have created a problem. The four of swords can sometimes speak of banishment, isolation and even a form of imprisonment. I think of that as being withheld really. Im feeling some sort of angst around the five of swords and the six and I keep thinking he might be around a coastline/waterline (either in name or otherwise) or he might feel he was or is facing some kind of 'stormy waters' or difficulties. I think he seems stressed mentally, Im getting some kind of overload here on someones thinking.

There may be some 'apology' due here from someone who has been away. I am seeing some kind of depression with Jared in this card but I cant make up my mind whether he was looking for some peace and quiet from problems or whether in fact it was forced on him as I did,nt really feel that he intended to disappear. Its as though he went off that day and somehow temporary absence has become a bit more permanent!

Swords are not very nice cards, but contrary to belief, when they are reversed they are not all bad. They can actually look worse then they are. The direction I see is EAST on swords cards, this is reversed of course and it can be awkward to decide but East is/was the main direction that I have.
We still have to bear in mind that swords are harsh cards, and though we make light of them when we can it can mean a person can run into severe troubles and this cannot be overlooked. There are two other people in these cards and they might not have been friendly.

Asking where Jared is and bearing in mind that Tarot cannot really name places as such, we do have the direction South, so our reversed four of SWORDS could have marked a SOUTH EAST direction. I see that we have a very sporty element on the 5 of wands so a SPORTS name or VENUE could come up here. Also so could a motel or a building of some description. The six sees movement towards a town/market or populated place . The word LAUREL and /or VICTORY could be useful descriptions/names. I also see heat/something hot here. Fire is the obvious thought but also it could be a heated debate/exchange with a group of people (males?) Again the waterline seems to appear around the three of wands so Im wondering if there is a coastline or perhaps a water name where he might be. 5 of wands can also be sports fields gyms anywhere of that nature of where people might carry out sports and that can also be the name of a place. I have not looked at the map yet. Somewhere in the distance MIGHT be an airport.

I say this as we travel the wands route and I see also possibly between two counties as we have a border line here and possibly even a district that is 'hilly'. I see fences and barriers - almost makes me think of a football ground but again its very easy to suggest things on these cards. Although there is a 'country feel' to wands cards at times, I rather feel that Pentacles are more agricultural and wands give me more of civilisation feel or places connected to people. I feel there might be a message regarding Jared before long or some information given that could be useful. Perhaps an older female might speak up about it.

Asking when Jared will be found - Tarot is giving me a stationary vehicle. That is not amusing of course because we know that a vehicle was found and that is not helping me to give information on this card, therefore I will ask this question once more. However, before I do, I will say that this card can a stagnation of events but gives a North South route and walking. The knight gives us 13 as a number so whether that has anything to do with Jareds vehicle I am not sure, by this I mean 13 in distance from it or 13 in time after the vehicle is found. I think I will ask once more about this.

Tarot has kindly pushed me back down the pentacles cards and given me the three. I would think then that this card tells us within THREE and NORTH. Pentacles are often three years but when its reversed it can strike out the years and just give us a THREE to take note of so Im afraid that is what I have. Notice it is reversed and I toy with SOUTH as well as North but it could be in the direction of North but the word SOUTH might come up for description also. I am seeing finance and business on this card and a kind of resistance to being found. An Arch or Bridge can be seen here and we are aware of the Joliff Bridge Road being the place where Jared was sighted. I would have thought that area would have been combed thoroughly but perhaps there might be a clue there that might be overlooked. Skills are not used in that area according to tarot, so it might be suggesting that he 'lost' something here that could be found. Maybe an article perhaps.

I am seeing a building/business or otherwise somewhere and I wonder if he was planning to call in there ? In some way I still feel his security is compromised on the one hand but seeing him quite a strong person on the other. I feel Jared might not be in the best health and yes his security may have been compromised. I see him being 'evicted' from somewhere or asked to leave but I dont know what the time scale of this would be before after or when. I think there is someone who is what I would consider a 'dirty businessman' here who might be difficult to trust. Pentacles are agricultural cards - whereby wands are not especially so though can be linked by county or country type places.

Tarot might have the wrong end of the stick with Jared and I apologise if its a bit askew at times but I hope that all ends well with Jared. However, cannot help but feel he had some problems to deal with that made him out of his depth? Three of Pentacles can often point out December and January as months of importance but also when it comes to work/business/financial matters. If there is anything particularly outstanding about these months then perhaps it might be worth thinking about what might have occurred in them previously. It might refer to the future but I have to put it both ways. The Ace of swords can speak about drugs, and it can affect the respiration as can alchohol. If there were any quarrels that anyone was aware of when Jared was out that evening it might be worth coming forward about those.

Anyway I will leave these thoughts and hope something somewhere might be useful.

After reviewing the case today with one of the case managers I think the area in the map is a very good possibility and it looks like we are all together on this one.

Attatched is a map of the search area, notice the creek marked in blue (second seach)and red (first search) and note the creek also flows West which would be to the right side of pictures. Intense search also was made in the area where people suddenly moved out of trailer on 7-3-11, next door neighbor was reluctant to talk and seemed very protective. One more point is Mother Nature always seems to recover and no buzzards have been noted flying in the seach area. Second Point the area where truck was found was searched by trained K-9 with no scent hits. I've always thought the truck was staged and possible someone other than the missing man was seen in area to throw off the real seacrh area?

Though Investingating and building a Facebook Network another person of interest claimed he was with Jared recently at a area of Caryle Lake at a bridge kids call screaming hairy lady bridge which is a bridge on Boulder Rd. which is now and was at time of disappearance very flooded, another area mentioned was Cat Fish Cove, interesting is the milage from where truck was found and to the bridge is 13 miles also Cat Fish Cove is on Road 2030
just thought this was alittle spooky and very wooded area arround the lake.

Anyway hope the family finds thier son or gets some sort of closure.

Mike, I am fairly certain that I picked this area based on the truck and the information provided that he had stopped at a trailer and asked for water. This was not a completely blind pick but definitely feel the area chosen would be similar in smell and feel, water trees rural etc even if at a different location.

It would not make any sense to me if a scent dog failed to pick up anything at the truck because his scent should have been all over the truck and a good dog would either stop at the truck or trail in one direction or another.

One additional thought. If the truck was staged then I am thinking a drug deal gone bad.

I haven't reviewed Jared's case, but do fear SFK with him. A quick glance at a map heightens this with name games common in the pattern. This is the area I get as the entry point. I hope I'm wrong.

The spillway or Caryle Dam being the Kaskaskia River always flows South which would be the direction of your origional cords. however there between the Dam and your Cords is a rock levy that is under the swinging bridge just North of Rt.50, this levy would stop most debri , however the date in question this area was flooded.

Here's what I am getting on Jared. The flow of information feels "stuck." Not sure if this is literal or figurative.

I get a new relationship/friendship or casual acquaintance associated with Jared on the night he went missing. This is a buddy thing, not a love or sexual interest and I strongly get that this is a male, not female friendship building or renewing. Please consider a "renewing" connection with someone from the past where their paths may have recently crossed again. Specifically, a former co-worker or a fringe friend from his teen or early 20's.

This is someone known enough to hang out with, but not enough to trust. There's either a reason for caution; rumor, reputation, past record, accusations or Jared had strong intuition about him. They were together in Jared's truck at some point that night and I get that Jared felt some responsibility for this guy. The work connection comes in again.

This is someone who created a bad situation that night but I don't get him being the one to harm Jared directly. This person has a "Eddie Haskell" personality. Charming when sober and very dark when drinking. He's basically a compulsive liar, blowhard and full of crap. There was alcohol involved and this guy started or escalated an altercation of some sort with other guys at the bar.

I feel Jared was alone, ie: on a smoke break, leaving the bar alone, at or near his truck when he was outnumbered and basically "jumped" and incapacitated by the guys at the bar. I feel a blow to the top of his right shoulder, near his neck. These are the guys who took Jared.

I get a strong sense of inconsistency and deceit from someone trying to throw things off. That sense comes most strongly around the truck. I get conflicting impressions about where Jared was claimed to have been seen on the road. Who was the witness and is it a credible source? Is there any surveillance to know how Jared left the last bar? Was he alone or with someone? Did he even leave the bar or was he abducted from there?

Whoever Jared was with or knew at the bar knows more than they are saying. There are answers at the bar as well. Bartender, busboy, waitress, patrons.

In closing I have an uneasiness that things are not as they appear. I don't get Jared taking off on his own and I don't get random or accident. Someone had some intention behind what happened to Jared that night and I'm sensing a "set up, ruse, or cover up"

On the JL: I've had a name for a couple weeks that precedes my awareness of Jared's case so I'm not sure it's connected but am happy to share if it might help. Would it be best to private message Mike, Rich or Patricia rather than post here?

From forum standpoint, if you got a name in a vision, reading, etc., it can be posted and noted that the name came up in the vision.

However, if you feel more comfortable or prefer to email Jared's Mom, Patricia, and Mike or Rich to check first on the name, whether connected, how connected, etc.

You know what I mean in case to protect ongoing investigation.

attatched is a google earth layout of where Jareds' truck was found and also have pin pointed all the local bars in that area, take a look and let me know if you get any feelings on the listed bars or need any info as to the type of crowd to have or if cant make out the names on the photo. I feel the we may be getting close to getting some answers in this case, with all the great help this site has provided and leads to follow up on.

I'm stuck on the truck...and confused by directions...feeling swirly or turned around. something isn't right about where he was going or coming from or the direction the truck was pointed or he was supposedly walking...doesn't add up.

I don't like where his truck is in relation to a home where the people moved out after being questioned!! That said, it was the first of the month and the holiday weekend, so may have been a scheduled move?

I just don't get that was him walking on the road and I believe the truck was planted or moved or left where it ran out of gas, but I don't feel Jared left it there. Were the events of the evening out of character for him? If he ran out of gas and was going to be late wouldn't he have called someone?

Where's his cell phone and wallet? Have they been found?

I have said that all along that something isnt right with the situation. I just could never imagine Jared NOT calling if he was stranded. He would of called one of us to help him. Also he would never leave his girls. Or at least try to call them to tell them I am stranded I will be there as soon as I can. I don't feel the bar was in that area maybe Breese area or even possibly Keysport area do you feel anything on these locations. As far as we know his wallet and cell phone are still with him nothing has been found. The last call was at 9:30 pm from that area and that was the last call he made was to his girls. we are getting no tracking signals from the phone at all after that last call that was it. I too don't feel that was him walking out there on the roads. I hope this has helped if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me.

Does someone have an update on the areas searched which we can call cleared. Also, I believe I was told that the person in the trailer may not have seen Jared that early morning for water - is this true? Was the truck stages where it was left?

Hi every one. I did a chart for Jared, b/c I saw that you were asking for more input on his case. I don't believe he is with us any longer. Things I am getting from the sabian symbols are as follows.
A duck pond with a family of ducks, a beautiful garden, Aroused Strikers Surround A Factory (he seems to have been robbed btw just my opinion though from what the chart says). I think the robbery took place at a factory.
The sabian symbol that represents Jered's planet Venus is : Through Bankruptcy, Society Gives To An Overburdened Individual The Opportunity To Begin Again. What about bunkrauptcy lawyers around there? Cash advance places, ect. A clown doing impersonations, A Young Woman Awaiting A Sailboat is the symbol for the placement of the moon.
The 6 house vertex shows us the symbol : A Gang Of Robbers In Hiding. His south node is also in the second house with his planet Venus. I think he was a drunk easy target and he was robbed. HE may have given the wrong person a ride IDK.
the south node's symbol is Children Skating Over A Frozen Village Pond.
Jared's 6th house of health and service is ruled by virgo and Virgo and Gemini are ruled by Mercury the sabian symbol for Mercury's degree is Blood Rushes To A Man's Head As His Vital Energies Are Mobilized Under The Spur Of Ambition. A few nights ago I had a flash of a Caucasian lighter haired man. I think he had a little facial hair but not much. Carefully shaved and clean cut, wanna be man wearing a red shirt with a matching baseball cap. He looked like he took a lot of time getting ready, or looking at himself in the mirror. Kind of reminds me of that movie malibu's most wanted.
I didn't know at the time what it meant, it still may not mean anything in context to this situation and may just be something random. I feel like this is where the info belongs though, he was in his early to mid twenties. Skinny build, fair skinned, light eyes.

Jared does smoke, he doesn't drink alot of pepsi he does drink Mt Dew. The truck is white. Keys are missing and they were on a pepsi key ring of mine. Jared's finances were not the best he was a single dad so it was hard on him and he was laid off when the weather was bad as his work was outside. The only lighter haired person that comes to mind is a friend that he grew up with and had been close, but recently had a falling out and this subject overdosed about a month before Jared went missing. I drove him to the funeral he did not seem distraught just that they hadnt been that close as of lately. He was thin blonde hair and had alot of demons within himself

I have been asked to further look at Jared's situation. Tarot is not 100 per cent and I have no guarantee of what it will tell us or whether the information covers the past present and future as tarot looks with a sweeping eye at all three. Because of this I get 'messages' that glimpse into the situation but I cannot always place exactly what period of time they are talking about. Sometimes not ALL descriptions apply.

Obviously, as Jared's mother has asked about the situation I am also concerned that what I write must be as accurate as possible. However, all I can do is give what I see and Tarot does not provide a Map of names for me to pinpoint exactly where a person can be. It is very frustrating but Tarot chooses what it gives to me and all I can do is try to put over whatever it is telling me and hope somehow it can give some kind of Clue.

Now you will see this card for the current date. It is the Sun reversed. Though I have asked Tarot for information about Today's date, again, I have to remind you that I cannot rely that Tarot will produce a definite piece of information about today.

When you see the Sun reversed you know that there is a family in trouble. You also know that travel is problematic. Travel is halted. We know that Jared's vehicle was found and where it was found. It is now important to try to track where Jared might be. It is always best to read the previous Tarot as it has given us clues and then combine this latest card of the Sun reversed.

The sun reversed gives us a path of 30 and it is reversed. 30 could be a date or a route or have some other significance. None of the Tarot is written to be judgmental therefore it must not be hurtful with what it suggests. However, this card is linked to the Emperor who is either the father or the boss and it can also represent being a 'non biological father' or indeed exploring that, can suggest problems being a father commanding respect and obedience. It does and can represent a boss or someone in work that Jared might not see eye to eye with.

This card can link directly to the family but might be more reflecting problems and weakness in family matters. When the sun is reversed it is giving us a RED BANNER perhaps the descriptions of the Sun might show us where Jared is. Red which is also associated with the Emperor is here. We have no direction on this card whatsoever but there is water in the area or names that are water names because the Emperor is also linked to the hanged man which is a very watery card and can show trees/poles.
The Sun card gives us the word WALL as the sun is enclosed in a wall but it is reversed which can suggest that Jared is 'under something' or by somewhere perhaps with the name WALL .


The Sun reversed can also describe someone who is in a basement, it is a card where the 'light does not get in' so perhaps it can show us that Jared is 'hidden' somewhere and not easy to find/spot.
The number 19 is on the Sun card and I also am getting links to a mother figure. Whether this is Jared's own mother or the mother of his children I am not sure. I am also receiving some deceptive influences here. Perhaps being a father was very difficult for Jared? I understand he has custody of his two children. It is always worth looking at all areas of this to make sure he did not have any enemies. Sometimes his enemy could be his mind. I am seeing problems that someone is having perhaps with their stomach. I also see something sharp so perhaps a sharp pain.

The sun reversed ALWAYS shows children in these cards and in this case there are two. I am seeing a situation where there is over dependence on parents here and Im not sure how that is being suggested but all I can do is give messages from Tarot hoping that its overview makes sense to somebody.

The sun reversed can show a 'broken wall' . It might suggest that he is linked to a person in the family but more coming from the past. I feel as though he has made decisions perhaps that he might have cause to regret. Did he feel overburdened, was everything just too much for him? I really feel as though his 'world is upside down' and he is not going anywhere.
I also see that Judgment gives us issues with health and perhaps there is a health building , hospital in this card. I see that there is a 20 on this card and it could be a distance or a route.

I would take into account all the previous information for Jared and read it along with this further update. I do not feel Jared was well whether something had upset him and there were cross words or whether in fact he was actually injured. I do see a strong opposing view in the stretch of swords. Maybe Jared wanted to escape from burdens and decisions he had made. However, I would take all the little clues and see if they can help.
The sun reversed can be about anger and irritation in the family and may represent anything to do with travel. It is also worth looking at the Fool and any area that has rock or stone in its name or a wall of stone.

Did Jared have any problems with work ? I am not sure how to connect all his dots yet of where he worked, where he lived, where his vehicle was found. But I think I have tried to give some indications of what might be glimpses of the situation. I also have a cemetary here or Church yard or even a street that comes up with that name. I do not know whether that is a pointer of place or not. Everything that is in the tarot 'picture' of directions seems to tell me it is on the Map.

I will continue to think further for Jared as I am always aware of other details I might have missed.

Tarot does explain things better then can be imagined, but it is up to me to try to interpret this. I know that mistakes can be made or I might have something cross wired but I just do what I can and hope that it helps.

It did occur to me that the Sun is also the solar plexis and this means the HEART. Maybe at some point there is a connection to 'HART' such as a road or place?

I do not know if it is a past connection or not, but Rock Hill Trials, Hartford, and Wood River might fit at some point?? The word East has significance with Jared whether direction or otherwise. Though the sun does not point a direction it is classified as the destiny of the East. I'm not clear whether I should be looking at a reversed angle to this but have mentioned directions in the previous Tarot which may or may not help.

That's it - strongly getting the connection as to why PEPSI was mentioned and shown to me. I don't know much about Jared's case as I don't like to know too much details upfront until after I get things and I would not have known "keys were missing".

It was Jared I saw walking - I believe he had a "cigarette" in one hand - arms down when I first saw him and swear I saw a cigarette held in one hand (arms down, facing me in the vision - so was hard to see what it clearly was). I felt it was a cigarette, but didn't know if Jared smoked or not.

In the first reading Tarot mentions the Emperor, next to the Emperor is the Heirophant, the Heirophant reversed would certainly suggest something to do with a Key or Two Keys.

However, being reversed will also give us the feeling that we do not have all the facts about these 'keys'. I thought I would mention this.

I still get a sense like he was "being followed" (maybe watched?). Like ready to surprise him. I could be OFF on this part and may be analyzing from some of my "human" perspective - don't like to interpret too much as that's when can get off from the visions as they are supposted to be.

But it did kinda feel like being "followed or possibly watched or seen" before striking - feel when his back was turned - then was hit.

These things are still with me this morning after unexpectedly connecting with Jared and My Angels last night so noting it.
