Krishonda ‘Shonda’ Leann Townsend, 19, mom of a two year old son, is missing. She was visiting with friends in Mineral Wells for the Fourth of July weekend and sent her mother a text message shortly after midnight , telling her she was on her way home and never arrived. She was last seen around 12:00 am on July 5, 2010. Her vehicle was located parked on a residential street and the car stereo system was removed, however, Shonda has not been seen nor heard from. Her family is extremely worried and stated she would not run off and not make contact with her family, friends and especially her young child. Her cell phone is turned off or the battery dead. The mother of a 2-year-old son, she is described as reliable, shy and quiet, but still a teen at heart, always with her cell phone in hand making texts or posting to her Facebook account. Those who know her say she possesses the maturity and responsibilities of a good mother, daughter and sister. They ask if anyone has info to please help. First I see two men, one is darker complexion and is 5'8" and stocky then second is 5"11" and med complexion and thin build.

She was forced to go with them, see a struggle...Her current location is within a wooden area not far from the location of her vehicle (maybe up to 3 miles away). Her body is somewhat hidden but was done half hazardly such as in a hurry.) There is not much grass more like light brown dirt and random weeds but within a wooded area. I maybe picking up on two different victims so can not be certain but the same men are responsible for both.

I have to agree that she would be found on a search and I am also feeling she is not far from the car I don't know why but I am really stuck on that hill right now and I do feel like they were in her car when they drove up there and that they live nearby also.

LE is really reaching out for some help on this case, if anyone has some time to review and give me their coordinates or suspect descriptions etc I will make sure it gets included in the full report being provided to them.

MINERAL WELLS — Auhorities are working in overdrive trying to locate Shonda Townsend, the 19-year-old Gibtown teen and mother of a 2-year-old son who disappeared in the early morning hours of July 5. She was last seen in Mineral Wells leaving a residence on U.S. Highway 180 West.

Her phone went dead or was turned off around 2 a.m. that morning, about two hours after she sent her mother a text saying she was headed home.

Police say there was activity on her phone just before it went off.

Her car was found several hours later in the 800 block of S.E. 3rd Avenue.

Citizens and law enforcement have conducted searches since to no avail, and law enforcement including the Mineral Wells Police

Department, Department of Public Safety and the Texas Rangers have doggedly chased every lead they thought might lead them closer to finding Townsend.

She was last seen wearing pink shorts and a black tanktop over a black and white polka-dot bikini. She was wearing navy blue or black Old Navy flip-flops and was carrying an orange and yellow clutch purse.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information provided

anonymously leading to her whereabouts. Call the 24-hour hotline at (940) 325-0000.

Also, a private reward fund has been established at First Financial Bank, 1900 E. Hubbard St., Mineral Wells, TX 76067. Anyone can contribute to the fund in Townsend's name.

Any information could be key in solving this terrible mystery. If you know something that might help, please help authorities and family find this young woman.

New leads emerge in Townsend case
About 100 people gathered Tuesday evening at West City Park to pray for missing teen's return

MINERAL WELLS — Mineral Wells police are cautiously hopeful they are getting closer to finding Shonda Townsend.

Townsend, 19, of Gibtown,has been missing since the early morning hours of July 5.

The Toyota Camry Townsend was driving was sent Monday to the DPS forensics lab for DNA testing, according to Mineral Wells police.

On Tuesday Mineral Wells Police Chief Mike McAllester confirmed Townsend received a text message shortly after 2 a.m. July 5 when her phone was turned off or went dead. With the assistance of the Texas Rangers, deleted text messages were recovered this week from a phone belonging to a person described as a “possible witness,” according to McAllester. As of Tuesday afternoon he had not been able to read them or know if they hold any value in helping lead law enforcement officials to her.

The individual belonging to that phone has been interviewed, according to police.

Dark man, left handed, knife. Name like Eunice or Eugene.She talks with her family member, I believe it is a younger sister. I see a knife fight, intestinal area. Near a drinking area, such as a bar. I have not read the other posts as I do not want to be unduly influenced in what i see. This man receives handouts. He also mixes potions, believe it is drugs like meth.His home is where he spends most of his time & the drugs are mixed.He lives in a newer neighborhood. May have been at this bar or drinking place on Thursday. I see sports around this drinking and the letter "L". She can be found within 8 blocks of the father of her child. Wish I could get more. Will keep trying.

They also found her keys in the field across from where Her Car was found

Sheila, that is some good info at least that might help with the trail on where her killer went, I wish they would have put dogs on it.

Kathi, I turned in my report that was sent to LE already but I also got that a knife was involved.

They did put dogs on it and they didnt find anything BUT they waited until after it had rained and the scent was gone!

I think someone got into her car after she stopped at the store they drove her to a remote area where she was murdered. I believe a knife was used and they drove her car and then returned back to the neighborhood where her car was left, this guy had already removed her stereo after the murder and put it in a black backpack. Her keys were tossed in the field as he walked towards his home which is less than 2 miles away. I don't believe that she directly knew this person. He is about 27 and has a criminal background and is staying with family in the area.

Tonight I did a quick mediation on this case and all of a sudden this broken down house with plywood over some windows and graffiti all over it came into view. Then I did a search on Felonspy and saw there were several felons that lived right where her car was found.

Police have information about a couple of drug dealers in the neighborhood and the vehicle in the Shonda Townsend missing person case that showed up in the area, McAllester told the jury, but said he doesn’t believe open-air drug sales are occurring in the neighborhood to the same degree as five years ago.

I'm still developing abilities, but thought I might contribute what I've picked up on.
- I see red - a vehicle, not hers. Large, older. Pick-up perhaps. And I see a pale, somewhat lanky white twenty-something male. Sandy to dark blond hair. He has glasses, but doesn't wear them all the time. He looks disarming with them.
- He's known her for some time, but not personally. At a distance. I get the smell of (excuse me) pot...a party... he's got rough friends but sticks out among them. The words 'whipping boy' are what I pull from that.
- He wasn't with her or her friends the night she disappeared, but watched from a distance. I don't know if he's someone responsible for her disappearance, but I sense he "knows something he shouldn't".
- I don't know if she's alive or dead, but I feel she either has been or is being moved. I pick up on something about nausea or vomiting.
- I sense the letter 'J'. 'Junction' is what I'm inclined to grasp, but it could be a name.
- I sense the keys and radio are not related to her disappearance, but I can't form any detail is to why.
Again, don't know if any of this is accurate or helpful as I'm trying to work myself out.

Thank you, Kathi and Shellee. I appreciate the support. I've spent most of my life running from all of this, and I'm tired of it (to say the least). I would rather dream & see/feel these horrible things and have them (potentially) help than keep them bottled in and eating me up. Not to mention, I can't sleep when I don't talk about it.

I, again, keep getting "J" and keep reaching for the word "Junction". I am inclined toward a misspelling - as in 'junktion' or something of that matter. Also picked up on the 'whipping boy' guy... again.... and I'm inclined to believe that she knew/knows his face but possibly didn't/doesn't know him by name.. or has/had trouble remembering it. I get a giggling or laughing (in a good-hearted way) sensation from her perspective regarding him. Basically everything I said earlier repeated. And, again, with the vomit and moving/movement. Still don't know if she's alive or dead, and am unsure if the guy I see is responsible or a witness/knowledgeable person and I'd prefer not to try as I worry my own fear/anxiety would label them incorrectly.

You might want to pass on what I've picked up. If they have no leads, it might be worth looking into.

The man from what I see works at a fast food place, near a convenience store not far from where she went missing. He is soooo confident LE will never find him. Look for dead end road, garage or shed right at the dead end go to the right and hike in a straight line. Look for a gazebo type structure and keep going a long way, tan dirt everywhere but there are trees in spots. She is protected but not getting that she is buried. He has not gone back to the location. There is a black backpack or bag that can be traced back to him to show he was there.

He is getting a big check this week, a payment or settlement. He is already spending it in his mind. He lives in an apartment, dirty blonde color and thin, wears t-shirts, jeans look dirty he does not do laundry much. He has a red sunfire type of car, old and exhaust kinda loud, dark (black?) interior. He eats alot of hamburger helper, the ones with white sauce and cheese sauce. He lives alone and randomly has a friend over but not all the time. He likes wheel of fortune tv game show. He thinks he is very smart. He likes to listen to Def Lepeord. He works around 4pm shifts until 10pm-12pm depends on the day of the week.

He recently pawned something, a medallion or coin of sort, only got around 20.00 but he has sentimental feeling towards this item and will get it back when his money comes.

Does not hang out on a daily basis with the other man (men?) that are also responsible. The above man is/was not a key player but was there and he doesn't think what they did was a big deal, he is very self centered and girls typically avoid him, he is kinda weird in their mind.

Sorry I can't think of anything that would lead LE to him with regards to Shonda's disappearance other than the pawned item but not sure where he pawned it at (only name I am getting has to do with a Lion or african animal which would be the pawn place)

Townsend's disappearance continues to be a mystery

lmost two months later, there is still no new information regarding the disappearance of Krishonda “Shonda” Leann Townsend, 19, mother of a 2-year-old son, who disappeared from Mineral Wells July 5.
“We are still working very hard on finding information on her,” said Mineral Wells Police Chief Mike McAllester.
In addition, McAllester said investigators are following possible leads but so far have been unable to locate her.
Her vehicle, a 1997 gray Toyota four-door sedan, was found in the 800 block of Southeast Third Avenue in Mineral Wells the day she disappeared. The car radio had been stolen. The car was sent to a crime lab in Garland to process it for possible evidence.
The department is still receiving calls of possible sightings.

I believe Shonda was going to pick up something from two men that met her at the park. She went alone. They were on drugs and starting "messing" with her. She fought back and one of them got mad. He hit her and she fought back. They dragged her through the park and at least one of them raped her. She was strangled and left for dead. They are looking in the wrong park - it is NOT where they found her car. The men were dark skinned, both are thin and one is much taller than the other. The word "Boots" is maybe a nickname? "Calvin" will also come in to play. She did not know these people but knew of them. They are friends of a friend. One has bragged about this when high. They will both get caught. They did not preplan this - it was more of a convenience. They hoped to rob her and she did not have much - so they took the radio also. One of them is from south of the area - he is related to a friend of Shonda's and was visiting. He has been arrested before for petty crimes such as stealing and breaking and entering. He is constantly stoned. The other one is still in the area (about twenty miles from the middle of Mineral Wells) he often stays with his mother. She is not aware of his part in this crime. He does not work. He does work on cars sometimes for money. He talks about New York.

One of them has ties in Cleveland.

I came up with a little more visual on Shonda - the men or at least one - are gang-related. The crime was NOT gang related just convenient. The one that murdered her - has tatoos on both forearms. I believe there are wings on something - not an angel. There is also a circle and it may be a pentagram but not positive. I see those forearms reaching for her shoulders. Both are very sick - mentally drug sick. They do not feel guilty and one does brag a lot. Someone named Timothy is either involved or knows/suspects who did this. He should be questioned or questioned again if LE has spoken with him. He may be with holding some important information and it may not be intentional. I will find a map of the area and see if I can pinpoint a place to search. They were sloppy and did not try very hard to cover anything up. It is just that they are not looking in the correct area. They need to go opposite of where they are. The most obvious spot - where they are concentrating, is not it. Her body will be found. LE will use dna and both parties will be prosecuted though others should be too - they know what happened because they hear the stories but don't bother to say anything. They are dopers too. Very sick bunch of people. No regard for human life.

I am not very far from Mineral Wells if there is anything I can do I would be glad to.

Has any on looked at the Jeffery Maxwell who was arrested in Texas for kidnapping a 62 year old woman and torturing her. Could he be tied to this case of Shonda. I read they are reopening cases of 2 other women. Some where yesterday I saw a video of his house and it is a house I have been seeing however I did not know what it was related too.

Shonda is saying that's me. She keeps showing me over and over. persistent saying tell someone they will find me. seeing her slip down into wet concrete or someone is pouring concrete over her to bury. This is being shown over and over. I get this on the left side of a back wall in a shed or old house that will show the new concrete. Not well done. Will be able to tell. at the place with dull yellow house.

I am glad to see that you commented on this case, and some how brought it to the forefront of the forum. I don't know how I missed Krishonda's case. She is near home, where she stayed. Venusian/ Taurus environment. She is near her parents, not far away, between their home or her home and a place of enjoyment such as a park, bar, casino. There may be mud or clay, well hidden. In a wooded area of probably a park. Might be buried. There may be a fountain in this park, or place. Look near the park or place with the fountain, or out buildings and stables in the woods or trees.
