NAMPA, Idaho -- Police in Idaho have issued an AMBER Alert for a missing 2 year old girl. They say she was taken by her mother just after midnight Tuesday. The mother has made suicidal threats to the father and is a known drug user.
The victim, Catelyn Sandoval, is 3 feet tall and weighs 35 pounds. She is Native American, with a light complexion. She has brown hair and brown eyes. The 2 year old also has a bump on her forehead and is possibly wearing a green sundress.
Police say her mother, Gerogina Sandoval came from out of the state and took Catelyn in the middle of the night. She is possibly headed to the Four Corners area (where New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Arizona meet). Gerogina is 5'07" tall and weighs 170 lbs. She has brown eyes and dark brown hair that is cut in a short bob-style.
The suspect vehicle is a blue, 4-door, 2007 Chevrolet Malibu with a New Mexico license plate. The plate number is unknown.
