TUOLUMNE COUNTY, Calif. -- Authorities are trying to identify human remains that were found buried in Tuolumne County.
The Sheriff's Department said detectives and cadaver dogs found the remains, which were identified in an autopsy as female.
The remains were found Aug. 26 near Cottonwood Road.
