Loose was last seen at the Petro Canada gas station in Vulcan on Jan. 8, and his disappearance was reported to RCMP in the evening of Jan. 9. His vehicle was found in Calgary on Jan. 11.
An autopsy is anticipated to take place later this week to determine the cause of death. RCMP say investigators are working on what is considered to be a "strong positive visual identification" of the victim.
There are no additional suspects at this time, but the investigation is continuing.
