A body found in the hills off Deer Run Road late Friday afternoon has been identified as a 29-year-old Sparks woman and authorities are calling her death a homicide.
According to Sheriff Ken Furlong, an autopsy performed this morning on Cherissa J. Davidson, also known as Cherissa Parker, revealed she suffered 11 stab wounds before someone tossed her body over a steep ravine some three miles into the hills from Deer Run Road.
