Officers from the Senath Police Department, the Dunklin County Sheriff’s Department, the Dunklin County Major Case Squad, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have been working on the case. It was announced Thursday that two bicycle training wheels believed to have been on the girl’s bike were found on County Road 568 east of Buffalo Ditch in Dunklin County. where the wheels were found in an area with heavy brush on Wednesday, which is approximately two miles southeast of Rodriguez’s home. Rodriguez’s father has seen the training wheels and believes they belong to his daughter because of how he manipulated the training wheels and bike to lower it for her height, according to the release.
