It's a highly possible scenario that she could have accidentally been swept away.
It's also a possibility that Amy could have fallen victim to a roadside crime, and that's a possibility mentioned by the sister of the missing Denver woman. Someone could have pretended to offer help or had pretended to be having car trouble themself. Andrea even mentioned that as far as she knows, Amy could be out of state right now. She feels like her sister is alive.
Police on the other hand have already called off official searches involved in this missing persons case. This could be partly due to the witness tip that was called in shortly after Amy's disappearance, stating that she was spotted with an unidentified male companion and didn't appear to be in any distress. At the moment, foul play isn't suspected, but that doesn't ease the mind and hearts of those who are missing her right now.
