Body found in Vermilion River is identified

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (AP) - St. Martin Parish authorities say a person cutting grass found the body of a 32-year-old Breaux Bridge man in the Vermilion River. The sheriff's office says the body was found Wednesday and identified as Bobby Lindsey, who was reported missing earlier in the day. Authorities told The Advocate that Lindsey left a Breaux Bridge video poker truck stop in St. Martin Parish at at about 8 p.m. Monday. An autopsy will be performed.
