Amber Alert for missing Idaho toddler cancelled in Nevada

On Wednesday at 10 a.m. officials announced that the Amber alert for 2-year-old Catelyn Sandoval was cancelled in Nevada. The police in Nampa have credible leads that Georgina Sandoval is in the Farmington, New Mexico area, and that Catelyn Sandoval is unhurt, Amber Alert reported in an email. SEE BELOW FOR KRNV NEWS 4'S ORIGINAL STORY: Officials say a 2-year-old girl is missing from Nampa, Idaho after her mother allegedly came from out of state and took her at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. Catelyn Sandoval is of Native American decent with brown hair and eyes. She is about 3-feet tall and weighs 35 pounds. She might be wearing a green sundress. She has a bump on her forehead and has a light complexion. The mother-Gerogina Sandoval, 26, might be headed to the Four Corners area (NM/CO/UT/AZ). She has made suicidal threats to the father, and is a known drug user. She is alledgedly traveling with Catelyn in a "bluish-silver" 2007 Chevrolet Malibu 4-door, or a Chevrolet Impala, officials said. the vehicle was described as having tinted windows and an unknown license plate number or state of issue with silver and yellow color. The plates might be from New Mexico with a sunshine design, or from Colorado. They might be accompanied by a man, also of Native American descent who is described as bald and last seen wearing a a white t-shirt, according to Amber Alert officials. Gerogina Sandoval is Native American with black hair, brown eyes, is 5-feet-7-inches tall, weighs 170 pounds and was last seen with a short bob-style haircut.
